The Anywhere curtain rod is a completely non-damaging solution for hanging curtains.

The unique tension rod system is fully adjustable and designed to work in every hard-to-install area. The Anywhere Rod’s height 213cm-305cm (84-120in) and width 91cm-167cm (35-66in) can be adjusted to fit any space and the wrap-around design allows the curtains to sit flush against the wall for a better blackout. Use the Anywhere curtain rod as a room divider to create more privacy or simply divide up space.

Nice alternative to a curtain rail

I bought two of these to hold large curtains for a wall-to-wall ceiling-to-floor window. My landlord insisted that if I put up curtain rails I must remove them and fill the holes at the end of the tenancy, so I hoped these would save me the bother - and they are great! My advice though: don't make the tension too high, as if they are against a ceiling they can push the ceiling board up. You don't need much tension for them to function and hold in place. A small complaint: quite hard to readjust the height of the weight bearing rod once it's at max height. Otherwise really great, would recommend!
